The White House Recognizes Awareness Week 2016

It isn't every day that we receive a certified letter from the White House. Due to the initiative of Nancy Kellar and our friends at Kids' Chance of Maryland, we received a message from President Obama acknowledging the importance of Kids' Chance Awareness Week.

"By fighting to make a difference in the lives of young people who experienced a parent's work-related injury or death, you are helping put opportunity within reach for our Nation's rising generation," states the letter. "This important work is helping America's daughters and sons achieve their dreams and is integral to building a more vibrant, more prosperous future for all."

The speed at which we have been able to raise this Awareness Week to a national platform is testimony to the strong passion, vision and commitment of our volunteers. Thank you to all who support this vital organization and the kids who need our help the most to achieve the education they desire and deserve.
