When a worker is injured on the job, it doesn't just affect them. It impacts the entire family. We support the kids.
Our state organizations provide scholarships and support to the kids of workers who have been injured on the job.
Our Planning for the Future initiative identifies potential scholarship applicants, especially those who are not yet old enough to think about continuing their education.
If your child is still young, that’s okay. Please share your information with us today so we can reach out when the time comes to apply for higher education.
If you have a workers’ compensation claims number, you’ve met the first requirement to be eligible for a Kids’ Chance scholarship. Each state then has its own additional requirements. To find out more, connect with Kids’ Chance in your state.
Find My Kids’ Chance“I would like to thank you for giving me this generous scholarship and the opportunity to continue my schooling at Eastern Michigan University.
I became eligible for this scholarship after I lost my dad in a roadwork accident in September of 2017. It was the day before my sophomore year and it was a struggle to continue.
I am now halfway through my junior year and this scholarship helped me pay for my books and contributed to my tuition. I am paying for college myself so this scholarship has impacted me immensely and helped me focus more on school.”
