NCCI Presents Kids’ Chance of Florida With $5,000 Donation

Boca Raton-based NCCI donated $5,000 to the recently established Kids’ Chance of Florida, Inc. charity. This is the newest state chapter of the national organization that provides educational opportunities and scholarships to children of workers who are seriously or fatally injured on the job. Pictured, NCCI’s Regulatory Services Consultant Michelle Smith, who has served on Kids Chance of America’s board for six years, accepts NCCI’s check on behalf of the Florida chapter from NCCI President and CEO Bill Donnell.Bill Donnell, NCCI’s president and chief executive officer, is a founding board member of Kids’ Chance of Florida, which formed just six months ago. The new organization approved its first four scholarships last month.“Providing a scholarship donation is a great way for NCCI to help these children who otherwise would not have the resources to continue their education,” said Donnell.“It’s very gratifying to be part of a dedicated group that has made it possible to distribute funds so early in our chapter’s life,” said Robert Wilson, President & CEO of WorkersCompensation.com and the board’s vice president.
