Pottstown, Pa. (September 3, 2013) -- The board of Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA), a national organization whose mission is to create, assist and support all Kids' Chance organizations and other similar programs nationwide that provide educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job, recently named two long-time insurance and workers’ compensation industry professionals to its 23-member board of directors.Kimberly George, senior vice president, senior health care advisor at Sedgwick, in Chicago, IL, and Ken Martino Jr., president and CEO of Injured Workers Pharmacy in Andover, MA, were named to the board at the organization’s annual meeting in Spring 2013.As senior healthcare advisor, Ms. George assists Sedgwick and its clients to navigate the complexities of the nexus between health care reform, providers and payers, healthcare delivery models, technology, quality, and claims management. She explores and works to improve key stake holder understanding of how health care reform affects business models and product and service offerings. Ms. George is a graduate of the Mt. Hood School of Nursing.'Mr. Martino has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, and recently started his own company, Injured Workers Pharmacy, which is a pharmacy service that helps people injured in accidents return to a productive life by collaborating with the legal, medical, and insurance communities.
