Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) has recently instated John Goldwater as the new President of the organization. They have also added three members to the Board of Directors.The mission of Kids’ Chance of America is to create a strong Kids’ Chance presence in all 50 states by providing national visibility, financial support, and best practices to each state organization. The addition of these three board members with combined experience of over 60 years in executive leadership positions will help Kids’ Chance continue on the path to fulfill this goal.John enters the presidency as no stranger to the Kids’ Chance mission. He was a member of the Kids’ Chace Board prior to becoming President, and also serves as the current President of Kids’ Chance of VA. He is committed to the cause and has over 40 years of professional experience in commercial insurance. John earned a degree from the College of Insurance in New York and has held executive roles in alternative market companies, most recently at the W.R Berkley Corporation. Additionally, he has held numerous leadership and volunteer roles in organizations like the Boy Scouts of America and the Manassas Presbyterian Church. He resides in Northern VA with his wife, Sandy, 4 sons and 4 grandchildren. The skills of the new board members will compliment John’s leadership, leading to a stronger board and organization.Charles “Chuck” Davoli is an attorney at law and also handles workers’ compensation mediation, consultation and training services, mediating over 800 workers’ compensation related cases. As a former union steelworker, he has served as a labor representative on the Louisiana Governor’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council for the past 12 years. Like John Goldwater, he comes from a Kids’ Chance background as the past co-chair for the Louisiana Kid’s Chance scholarship program administered by the Louisiana Bar Foundation. This only scratches the surface of the industry background from which Chuck comes, exhibited by his nomination for a Comp LaudeTM award.Joining the Marketing Committee, Craig Rollins of Kids’ Chance partner myMatrixx has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the healthcare and transportation industries. He has a record of delivering long-term, repeatable growth for expanding organizations and will help Kids’ Chance continue on its growth trajectory.New Marketing Committee Chair, Dana Genheimer, is the current President of Kids’ Chance of North Carolina and former Vice President. She is also the North Carolina representative for the Council of State Organizations. With a focus on strategic marketing initiatives and corporate communications, Dana is currently the Assistant Vice President of marketing for Key Risk (a W. R. Berkley Company). With a 100% focus on workers compensation services and insurance, Dana is responsible for brand development, marketing execution and communication strategies on behalf of Key Risk.
