In an effort to increase the opportunity for communication between state organizations, Kids’ Chance of America has started facilitating targeted calls addressing specific fundraising topics.

The first call was held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, and focused on maximizing your golf fundraiser, a common method to bring in support for many of our states.

Representatives from Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Louisiana and Pennsylvania shared their secrets of success as featured presenters. Specifically, they covered:

• Choosing the Right Venue
• Pricing
• Sponsorship
• Integration of Students
• Marketing
• Generating Golfers and Sponsors
• Committee Structure / Accountability
• Promotion Schedule (emails, message boards, outreach, etc.)
• Benefits of Partnering with Established Workers’ Comp Events

We had 18 participants on the call, representing 16 State Organizations. What a way to kick off this initiative!
