The Kids’ Chance scholarship has allowed me to attend a wonderful university that provides me with numerous opportunities inside the classroom and out.
This semester I am studying abroad in Angers, France. I live with a host family and take classes at a French university, Université Catholique de l’Ouest. I am becoming more proficient in the French language, learning about the French culture, and even the culture of other European countries.
After finishing my undergraduate degree, I would like to join a service like the Peace Corps or Americorps and then go back to school either for a master’s degree or law school. I eventually want to have a career where I am able to work at home but also abroad. I think my dream job is to be a diplomat.
I’m not certain on my future career, but I would like to use math and the French language.
My family and I send our greatest appreciation.
