Years of Board Service Will Inform His Presidency
The president-elect of Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) is Ken Martino, President of MedRisk, the leader in managed physical rehabilitation in workers’ compensation. The national nonprofit supports 47 state organizations all of which provide scholarships to children of workers who have been seriously or fatally injured on the job.
Ken has served on the national board for more than 10 years providing consistent counsel and leadership.
He currently serves as both the Chair of the finance committee and Chair of the grant committee. He assisted in the creation of the emergency grant program which provides funds to state organizations that have faced an unforeseen hardship. He is also spearheading the development of nomination materials for KCOA’s first endowed scholarship fund.
Ken also serves as a key member of the fundraising committee and is responsible for closing a number of KCOA corporate partnerships. These partnerships provide the resources needed to allow KCOA to meet its mission.
